The assignment from Google was to create a flexible piece of display area to tell the benefits of Chromebook and for people to explore them in a comfy way.
The solution from Nord ID is a furniture that is based on one centre piece that focus on telling what Chromebooks is. Added to the centre piece are the try areas – high and low tables. At the centre piece you can press one of the six “benefits buttons" and you’ll watch a short film that describes each one. At the centre you’ll also find a digital guide to help you choose the right Chromebook.
The shop in shop concept from Nord ID has helped the customers to understand what Chromebook is all about. It has also helped the staff in the store to explain the greatness of Chromebooks.
There are many ways that the furniture can change it’s form to fit different store concepts. E.g. in the Nordics a special table solution was made to fit Elkjøp’s black display tables.
