The assignment from Google was to design a flexible display area that showcases the benefits of Chromebooks while offering visitors a comfortable and engaging way to explore them.
Nord ID’s solution is a furniture piece centered around a key display element that highlights the core features of Chromebooks. Surrounding this centerpiece are interactive areas, including high and low tables, where visitors can try the products. At the centerpiece, users can press one of six "benefits buttons" to watch a short film explaining each feature. Additionally, the display includes a digital guide to help customers choose the Chromebook that best meets their needs.
This shop-in-shop concept by Nord ID has been highly effective in helping customers understand the advantages of Chromebooks. It has also made it easier for store staff to communicate the Chromebook’s value and benefits clearly and confidently.
The furniture is designed to be highly adaptable, capable of changing form to suit various store concepts. For example, in the Nordics, a custom table solution was developed to match Elkjøp’s black display tables.
